I am an 18 year old Muslim girl, I practice Islam in America and I can say I was discriminated against because of my faith. I have been judged by the way I dress, by the way I portray things, and by my belief. Being a Muslim in America has changed my views about racism.At times it can make me feel depressed, mad,irritated,and most of all curious. Curious as to why my belief is the cause of the way I am treated in my life.
