The play " A Midsummer Night's Dream " was written by a famous play writer Shakespeare. The play opens in the royal palace in Athens, Greece. Theseus, very famous and popular ruler has fallen in love with their beautiful queen of Amazon, Hippolyta. The Duke announced at the beginning of the play that they will get married in five days. At this point, Egeus, a wealthy Athenian, brings his daughter Hermia before the Duke. Hermia had fallen in love with Lysander, a young man of whom her father disapproves. Egeus wishes his daughter to marry Demetrius and complains that Lysander has stolen her heart with poems and serenades.
