must emerge from isolation in order to succeed.
Since Utopian rules and beliefs are completely different from any other
society, converting that society would be near impossible. Maybe a few of
their rules could work in another society, but that's about it.
In order for to spring up in the middle of an
existing society, citizens would have to give up their existing pleasures,
which would not go over well. These citizens would suddenly be forced to
give up gambling, dice, brothels, and most importantly, money. These
citizens have already experienced greed, and to go without it, would be a
disaster. They would laugh at the fact of this, and simply move away. The

Teaching children while they are young is the key to a successful
utopian society. This is why isolation is needed. If a Utopian society is
started in the middle of England, children would have too much influence
from surrounding territories. An island would be the only way to maintain
a Utopian society, when it comes to children, for they are their future.
Children are not the only ones that would need their ideas protected. On
an island, they can see any foreign ship that is coming their way. Then,
the proper officials can greet these newcomers, not citizens, and see if
they are fit to talk amongst the others. Indeed, Raphael talked about the
foreigners dressed in royalty, and how the others laughed at them. That is
just one instance. If they were surrounded by other territories, more
