A. "Dissapointed that taxpayers are called upon to bailout another one�- Sarah palin. Many negative comments were disbursed about the AIG bailout. $182 billion was given out to AIG that was from tax payer�s money. AIG also saved many banks which impacted the loans that were given out to small business and home loans. Small business makes up over 60% of the new work force.

B. Bailout- A rescue from financial difficulties. The government made billions of dollars by loaning AIG capital. It was a loan not a grant.

AIG would have failed if it were not for the government loans that were made possible by the tax payers of the United States. Many other Companies would have failed if AIG were to fail. It was simply to big to fail. AIG benefited greatly from the bailout and has since risen its stocks over 10000% its low 33 cents per share and has also saved many other companies from failing.

2) AIG was not the only company that was saved when it received government money. Many other big companies where saved such as Goldman Sachs, bank of America, and Morgan stanly, which prevented job, loses by the millions.
