Raunchy, rude, crude, and outrageous is only a few terms to describe "Don't Be a Menace to South Central While Drinking Your Juice in the Hood. Paris Barclay directs this ghetto melodrama. There is kind of a trend with these types of movies. It started out with "Boyz N the Hood", "Menace II Society", "South Central", "Juice", "Poetic Justice", and many others. The cast includes the Wayan brothers (Marlon and Shawn) who have also starred in many other movies in this genre. This movie is rated R for strong language, sexuality, some drug content and violence.

At one point in the movie she says, "Now sweeties, what do you say when you meet a nice man?" "Are you my daddy?' The children answer.
When they are trying to make fun of the hood they over do it too much. For example making soup out of malt liquor and marijuana. Also cops playing beat up Rodney King video game during their free time. On the house to one of the door they use grenades as a door knocker. This movie is based on stereotypes. The characters carry around guns and forty ouncers. Ashtray is older than his father is and nobody else even knows who his or her father is.
