The positive effects of marijuana are feelings of relaxation, altered perception of time and distance, intensified sensory experiences, laughter, talkativeness, and increased sociability. The negative effects include impaired short term memory, difficulty concentrating, dreamlike states, impaired motor coordination, altered peripheral vision, imparied driving, slowed reaction time and other psychomotor skills.
