Situation: Alisa Fay is a 31-year-old married mother of two children living in upstate New York for 3 years now. She's got a six-year-old daughter and a four-year- old son. She got married at the age of 29 but led a promiscuous lifestyle during her younger years. Mrs. Fay have not yet discuss her abnormal pap smear result with neither her family nor friends. Laparoscopy and extensive tissue biopsy shows the cancer has spread beyond the cervix but is confined to the pelvic area. External Beam Radiation Therapy and chemotherapy for a session cycle of 4-6 weeks with a combination of Cisplatin(Platinol) and Paclitaxel(Taxol) have been recommended. Repeated sessions will be scheduled based on the success of current method.
