This ad is taken from the People�s magazine. It�s a Chapstick advertisement, of a woman on the hunt for her lost Chapstick. She doesn�t care what she looks like or what she damages, she needs to find it!

The message is telling women that they need Chapstick in order to feel and look good. It�s a push towards women to spend tuns of money on make up products, yet it will still end up at the bottom of their makeup bag. By displaying the woman bedding over the couch, as the main eye catcher of the ad, it suggests that the Chapstick is lost in her buttox.

The effect the advertisement has on the audience is demanding. It makes the reader want to buy the product. It is objective towards women because she is skinny and the main focus is her butt. It makes women feel like objects, as if they don't have any feelings. She�s also in a sexual position, which makes people interested in buying the product. They assume if they wear the product it will make them sexy/attractive. The ad may be violent towards women, because it displays a fit woman. It might make women force their bodies into looking familiar to hers. The ad influences the audience by telling them that having round and luscious lips are important, and that only Chapstick can give you the best results.
