People often remember their childhood memories. One such memory that I have is when I met my step Mom, Rhonda. The situation was one that I did not expect, and turned out to be a positive for me and my family. I had issues that were resolved over time, but I can look back at the memories and know that they brought me to where I am now.

We, my sisters and my brothers, met Rhonda after church one Sunday afternoon. We went to her apartment and I remember watching Scooby Doo on her television. Looking back, I know now that she was the best that she could be and more than I could have ever hoped for. She was not perfect, but great for us. She made mistakes, but so did I and so did the rest of us, so we got along fine. My dad was happy and we had many great trips as well as a happy home life that I had not experienced prior to knowing her.
