After World War II the Soviet Union stayed in Poland even after Germany was defeated. Throughout their occupation (1945-1989) the Soviet Union attempted to instill communism into the Polish government, but communism had little chance to thrive in Poland and was ultimately overthrown. in Eastern Europe was tolerable. No Matter how hard the Soviets tried and how much influenced they had, resistance was always ahead of them. Consequently, due to an abundance of internal and external reasons Communism in the People's Republic of Poland was crippled from the start. Specifically, growing hatred towards the Soviets, Economic failures and Religious resistance lead to the eventual termination of Communism in Poland.
First off, an internal reason that hindered the permanent implementing of Communism would be the lack of true communists in Poland.
