my Effective Speaking class. Effective Speaking was one of the hardest classes I have taken in college. Before I took this course, I was petrified of speaking in front of people. This course made me more comfortable while using my own words and sharing my own thoughts. This speech was on a charity that I was interested in. This was one of my final speeches and I did a great job presenting it.

So many times teenagers forget how to write properly due to how we speak over the internet and how we write through text messages. and come up with everything on our own. We came up with a slogan, a name, the stories, etc. This project took us weeks to complete. We spent hours at the library and creating new ideas. We spent almost every night working together to create a perfect newscast. I was the one who set up every group meeting and I was the one who prepared the final touch-ups on the entire project. Our group went above and beyond our classmates because we made a video to go without project. Due to the topic, we had to go to a movie premiere and did not come back until late after getting the footage we needed.
