D-Day was one of the most important days in American History. Over 90,000 U.S soldiers and citizens lost their lives all for the cause of ending the Nazi reign of European countries, and to put a stop to the on going World War II. D-day has been a topic that will never be forgot in history.
On June 6, 1944 American, British, Canadian, and other allied forces landed on the beach of Normandy, France at an early 6:30 am. The Allies (Canada, UK, and the US) fight against Germany.At the beginning of World War 2, Germany invaded Poland, causing France, Great Britain and Canada to declare war on Germany.
