Ending the War

It was the last days of World War II. The data shows that the United States did not want to risk millions of American solders' lives by invading Japan. They had to come up with an alternative way to end the war as quick as possible.
The United States entered the war on [1]December 7, 1941. While German armies were freezing to death in Moscow, Japan attacked the United States naval base called Pearl Harbor, Hawaii. After was attacked the United States got into the war after Hitler declared war on the us. The United States joined the allied powers which included the United States, France, and Britain. This war was mostly fought in the air. A whole battle was fought in the air. Some of the fighter planes used where: [2]the Bf 109, Spitfire, FW190, P-51, Yak-3, A6M, Zero, P-38, F4U, and Ki-84. Tanks also played a big part in this war Germany use tanks mainly since they where close to home. They would use tanks to take out enemy hiding spots and take out enemy on foot and or enemy ships. The United States had tanks of there own that they would ship over seas. On D-day the United States tried using tanks but when they got into shore the tanks sunk because the Germany army would break down the ground in the shore so it was unstable and tanks would sink.
The spring of 1942 was when Japan took over the pacific the United States was wounded and wasn't ready for another war. There where no jobs and people where dyeing of starvation. The United States didn't have the man power or energy to enter the war. They needed nearly nine million men. These nine million men would ...
