When individuals are given the task of reading or writing, it has been found that many important factors are not considered when evaluating the performance of the task. Asides from all the other factors bilingualism stands out because of the strong effects it can have on a person�s ability to learn and memorize certain things. It has been found that bilingualism can have a major effect on learning and memory. Data has shown that the United States is the fastest growing country to have individuals speaking more then one language. But when the same task is given in their primary language they are quick and confident about their answer.
