In today's society there are two mindsets that kids could be in. Those two mindset's are fixed and growth mindset's. A fixed mindset is what separates students from being motivated which could lead into success. In the article "Boosting Achievements with Messages That Motivate" By Carol Dweck. the end of the world, but a new beginning because they are willing to try harder instead of giving up so fast. Growth mindsets show your ability to learn. That shows your intelligence as well and then you start to believe in yourself.

I myself have a growth mindset. When I fail, I will always try harder and put 100% into what I do. Never giving up is a big part of a growth mindset because if you give up you won't ever believe in your ability and intelligence. "Some students believe mistakes and setbacks mean that they don't have the ability" (Carol Dweck). I was one of the students who believed that I wasn't smart enough. I always believed that if I made a mistake that it was the end of the world, but now I know mistakes are sometimes a great thing to make in life. By having this mindset I have been able to go for my dream and never give up on it. I have made it this far because of many mistakes and I am grateful.
