My topic of interest is about Grave�s disease. I choose this topic, because I was diagnosed with Grave�s disease a few years back. While researching information on Grave�s disease, I�ve came across some interesting facts and analysis that may be beneficial to those of who don�t know anything about the disease. Grave�s disease is a rare disorder, only one fourth of one percent of the US population has this disease. Did you know that a hyperthyroid occurs, when the gland in the front of your neck, also known as the thyroid, produces too much T4(Throxine), and T3(Triiodothyronine). The thyroid controls your metabolism and affects your heart, muscles, bones, and cholesterol.

symptoms include feeling nervous, moody, weak, or tired. You might discover your hands shaking, your heart beating faster, or even troubles breathing. Warm red itchy skin can also be a sign that you have a hyperthyroid. You also may notice, you might have more bowel movements than usual. Some people might even lose some of their hair. Since the hyperthyroid speeds up and controls your metabolism, you may notice weight loss. The interesting thing about this is that some might not even have any symptoms at all. So, it is important that if you have any signs or symptoms of a hyperthyroid contact your physician.
When your physician thinks, you might have a hyperthyroid, he/or she will have your blood tested. Then your physician will know how to treat your condition. Sometimes if the symptoms appear to be a bother, your physician will prescribe you a beta blocker to treat the symptoms of a rapid heart rate, sweating, and anxiety.
