�A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed. The Second Amendment to the United States Constitution is the part of the United States Bill of Rights which protects the citizens rights to bear arms. This right was passed on December 15th 1791. Gun Control is a very controversial issue among most United States citizens. It is an issue that has been brought to the Supreme Court at least seven times.

found guilty of marching a group of armed men without authorization from the state. Presser claimed the state of Illinois violated his right to the Second Amendment. The Court ruled in the states favor, saying that they do have the power to control and regulate any type of military bodies, including marching, active military drills and parading activities. The Court also said it�s true that all citizens are capable and permitted to bear arms. However they are not allowed to parade in a military sense, without further approval from the State in which each person resides.
