For example, a warrior of the olden times would not consider it honorable to deceive in the battlefield and would be taken aback at the use of deceit and stealth in the battlefield. However, it may be seen that stealth and deceit are the accepted strategies that win modern wars. Similarly, some cultures like the Asian cultures believed that getting captured in battle is worse than death. On the contrary prisoners of war are accepted as a reality in the modern war situations.
