Rising 725 feet from the floor of the Colorado River, the Hoover Dam is a majestic monument to our heritage as a resourceful and determined nation. It is a tribute to all who worked on the Hoover Dam and to those who died making history. Many roadblocks stood in the way of completing this project but American ingenuity, hard work, and the perseverance ultimately prevailed.
