He is falling toward certain death. Some one yells out the fifteenth-story window, 'how are you doing?' And the falling fellow hollers back, 'Okay so far!'" It is okay to be positive when approaching tough situations, but a constant bombarding of motivational thoughts may in turn impede the situation overall.
