Humanism During The Renassiance



During the late fourteen hundreds in Florance, Italy times were changing. Humanism was spreading all over Europe and people were willing to listen to new thoughts and trying out new things. Humanistic thoughts and beliefs during the Italian Renaissance had a positive effect on society. Out of this Renassiance many things came about. Sculpture and Art works that were created that would change the way that we would look at pieces of art for centuries to come. New ways of thinking about the world and great inventions that would be used by millions some five hundred years later. Architcture that would set the standard look for many different buildings and monuments.

of Florance, nude art works were accepted and common to see. Donatello was considered to be the father of sculpture using such details in all of his works. Michelangelo was considered to be the greatest of Italian artist. Michelangelo�s greatest works can still be seen around the world today. His fressico of the Sistine Chapel in Rome is admired by all. His fifteen-foot sculpture of David shows how much detail went into each and piece of artwork done by the artist of these times. New inventions were being made to aid these artists.
Once the Renassiance was underway people were again studying and reading Greek and Roman phlosypers works and thoughts that had been recorded. They studied sciences, Medicines, and mathematics. There were a lot of improvements in weaponry. The long bow and the cannon were new inventions that would later play a huge role in many wars to come.
