Global warming is the gradual increase in the earth�s surface temperature. Increasing temperatures will cause sea levels to rise above current levels, change of weather patterns, and affect several species of animal�s habitat. Human activities have been found by the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) to be the main causes of global warming. The burning of fossil fuels: oil, coal, and natural gas and deforestation are two of the main causes that are being analyzed by the EPA Climatologist. The effects create a growing danger for the ecosystem that we live in.

The main goal for the researches involved with the EPA is to study and predict solutions that will help slow the process of global warming. The test performed range all over the spectrum anywhere from: studying how fast we are using our natural resources, looking at forest around the world to see the impact on environments, examining the rise in sea levels and how it affects our weather patterns, and finally to see how many animals are almost extinct because of selfish inhuman ways. Although global warming cannot be completely stopped, maybe we as human can be taught a better way to sustain our self and the environment around us.
