that how our society ignores women makes how they are treated inevitable. It says that the reason behind the phenomenon is most of the people who get to make the decisions that make a difference in the world are men - and it isn't that men consciously go out of their way to make life difficult for women (Maybe sometimes). But rather, they do this because they are men and as such they design the world to work for them. These men don't even notice the world is ill-suited for women because they simply don't inhabit the same world that women inhabit.

The instance that will stay with me from this book was about women's plight when pandemics hit. Caroline Criado Perez states in her book that:
