Motivating Students

Identifying the style in which you teach best with would be the first piece of a motivational plan. This style could be a variety of methods that took year and years to develop as a teacher. As a teacher you need to experiment with a variety of activities that make match your personality and what works best for the students. Is the style and method productive and is it true to you? I feel it's importance to access what your professional strengthens and weaknesses are as a teacher and build upon those areas. classroom setting and monitor the perception. There are many ways in creating positive attitude and perceptions. Ask the students about how their classes are going and not just the one you teach, what they did over the weekend or will do, and what their goals are. Asking these simple questions routinely once a will allow you build a positive rapport with the students. Doing such a simple thing as this routinely will demonstrate to the students that you care and that you are committed to them.

Effective teachers are aware of how dramatically attitudes and perceptions affect learning and, therefore, continually monitor the class for positive attitudes and perceptions is a must. If you as a teacher feel the classroom attitude is trending downward, it is vital you change things up a little to address it. Create an activity that is not solely content driven, but allows the students to interweave a variety of contents.
