Although EV's get their charge from a plug, that energy itself still gets produced through the burning fossil fuels. Emissions still hunt us but the EV has made a massive stab at this problem we're creating daily. With advances like this, it's no doubt that eventually we'll find an even more environmentally conscious way to provide power to the EV. At that point, the EV will become a standard part of life for almost everyone.
