Subsequently, the coddled child will learn to depend on others to rescue him from life's calamities instead of depending on himself. This will also lead the child to expect that the world is a place where all his needs are me, when in fact, it's not.
Being overprotective, likewise, always has either positive or negative effects on the different aspects of a child's life, specifically on their behavior. (Smart Parenting) and now that this problem is no longer surprising these days, both the parent and the child should take quick but appropriate action to avoid more complications and in order to build a better and strong relationship.
