while we were learning about it in class. To this date, I have not had much knowledge with infertility and was extremely interested in learning more. As a twenty year old woman, there is a strong desire that I feel inside of me that has hopes of being able to conceive a child of my own someday. Infertility affects many women and men worldwide and has been a major issue in multiple countries and states. Throughout this paper I will talk about various contributing factors to infertility, focusing on surrogacy. In this research paper I will talk about the affects of surrogacy on all parties involved, legislative regulations in regards to surrogacy, counseling/attitudes and coping methods used, and general information about surrogacy and infertility.

Also, if there is a contract between the surrogate and the intended parents that states when the child is born they have the parental rights over it; I believe the surrogate mother should honor that. That couple has been looking forward to having a child for the past nine months and it would just be extremely cruel for the surrogate to decide she is keeping the child after she gave birth.
