After, reading from the text, I believe communication problems in my past relationships has been the primary cause of my failed relationships, broken bonds and ruined possibility for future growth. this new profound outlook I can be truly honest with myself. Above all, with this greater self-understanding, I have learned to appreciate others better and to communicate honestly and kindly.

By the same token, the meaning, purpose, method and importance of communication differs greatly for both genders. Communication has always been the biggest bone of contention whenever and wherever the two sexes have tried co-existing (Dr. John Gray the Buzzy). Coupled with, asserting one�s self can pose a challenge to those who are naturally timid, like myself. But doing so I found it to be a necessity to get what I wanted out of my relationship. In some regards, I felt that I was constantly being overburdened instead of getting my needs met, so I started increasing my assertiveness which turned out to be a very wise choice.
