As Americans look back on the 1920s, it is a time period that is filled with happiness and great sadness. At the beginning of the twenties era, Americans experienced life as a celebration. It was a time of non-stop dancing, and listening to the radio. This is the time before the television was invented and so people relied on the radio for music and entertainment. in the twenties. Freud�s ideas were mainly sexual, and he considered that a liability due to the fact that some large groups of people did not agree with his ideas. Other inventions came from the science field, penicillin and the discovery of insulin for diabetes were both new inventions that came from the twenties era. Dancing was the main source of entertainment. Many people referred to the hobby as dance crazes, which involved dances called: the Charleston, the Shimmy, the Foxtrot, the Sox hop, and many more. The beginning of 3-D movies also came in the 1920s, which made the twenties an interesting era to look forward to.
In 1924, the stock market experienced a remarkable rise, and then in between March 1928 and September 1929 the average price of stock rose to forty percent.
