Robert frost was an American poet who left a legacy on his works that is still being remembered today. His career of writing poetry led him to express his feelings, experiences, and his overall life. In his poems, Robert Frost portrays the aspect of the different poems having their own meaning that related to his background. �Mending Wall� (Famouspoetsandpoems.com, 2008, para 1). Frost relates to this poem because �Mending Wall� was drawn from his own life, everyday tasks, recurrent loses of his family and the feeling of loneliness. The meaning behind �Mending Wall� is the decision of breaking down the barriers between two people to build a strong relationship. Therefore, Frost wrote �Mending Wall� to express the feeling of loneliness because when he has the chance to meet his significant other, he will be able to break down barriers easily and start a relationship. Furthermore, Frost experiences the feeling of loneliness because when he was at a young age, his family members suffered in various diseases which led to depression when Frost began writing poetry.
