This is the case of Roe V. Wade. In the book, Supreme Court Cases, by Simone Payment it said,� that the parties� names were Norma McCovery also known as Jane Roe and her two attorneys, Sarah Weddington and Linda Coffee (pg14).� They were fighting against the district attorney of Dallas, Texas named Henery Wade.
The big issue of this case was the legalization of abortion in the United States. Payment said, �That the attorneys agree that there were a few amendment at state, like the first, fourth, fifth, ninth and fourteenth (pg 19).� This helped them build a solid case.

which meant that Roe had won and the Chief Justice Burger had to write an opinion statement but never finished it. Then in June 1972, Chief Justice Burger thought that the Supreme Court needed to hear the case again. After a couple of weeks the ruling was set. Simone Payment said, �That they decide that they should divide the pregnancy into three trimesters and the first trimester it was legal to have an abortion and the second and third trimester the states could allow abortion but with some restrictions (pg43).�
My opinion about this case is that I think that abortions should be legal just because sometimes you cannot help what happens to you. Yours or the fetus� life could be in danger, or somebody could have rape you. Sometimes people have to get an abortion just because they do not have money to pay for it or to even take car e of themselves. This is a very hard choice to make for me and along with anyone else.
