Cohen (CEO of SAC Capital) was in a suit against his ex-wife Patricia Cohen, who claimed that he was involved in racketeering and organized crimes. Patricia claimed he hid millions of dollars from her during their divorce which took place 20 years prior to the case; she also claimed that Steven Cohen received a tip in 1985 in reference to the takeover of RCA by General Electric in which Mr. Cohen used the proceeds to start a new investment firm.
