However, the law as it now stands forbids the doctor from giving his poor patient any morphine or anything else to ease the pain , because to do so would kill the patient. Eventually he was about to die anyway, but the last hours of a human life was spent in pain � just because the law said this is the way it should be. In my opinion, life should be a matter of choice , I think people should have the power to control what happened to their bodies, and that they should not be forced to suffer through intractable pain until their body finally dies. In that case, euthanasia should be decided according to the patient�s last desire.
