In the �Taming of the Shrew�, Katherine was much like Queen Elizabeth. There were also differences as well. The two women developed overtime, and overcame there fears of marriage. They matured in such a manner that they each fell in love, even though one went through more smoothly than the other.
Both Queen Elizabeth and Katherine were judged. There were different reasons backing the accusations up though. For example, Katherine was judged for being a total and complete shrew, which she was. On the other hand, Queen Elizabeth was being accused for treason, and being judge ...

the marriage conflicts in both Katherine�s and Queen Elizabeth�s lives, they were both frightened in a way to get married. Queen Elizabeth was frightened to get married because people around her had formerly had marriages that didn�t work out so well. Katherine was frightened of marriage because she thought all guys were jack asses and none knew true respect. They both only had one true love in their lives. Queen Elizabeth didn�t get married however, but Kate did, and her husband ended up �taming the shrew�. They were a perfect match for one another.
In conclusion, Queen Elizabeth and Kate were both frightened of marriage/ men at first, but then they both fell in love. They were also members of wealthy families, and were both judged on multiple occasions. They differed because Kate was a complete shrew, but Queen Elizabeth was kind and wanted to have success in her life. She flourished in her studies while Kate blew it all off.
