Disadvantages of teamwork include when working in a team there are no losers and no winners. That, despite of obvious advantage (no one loses anything), can be a big disadvantage because no one takes a blame and no one can really feel good of the gained success. If the task is assigned to a group which does not enjoy doing work they would assume that other members of the group would do it but in fact the task would be left unfinished. Teamwork also leads to interdependency as tasks are divided among the workers but if one worker is absent or unwilling to work, the entire group will have to suffer.
