�A permanent solution to a temporary problem� is what I always
think of when I hear the word suicide. But why do people especially
teenagers choose to take their own lives because of a couple temporary
problems? Is it really the best solution? Or is it really just a way to
get out of your problems when times get really difficult? No matter what
the reason do you really think it solves your problems? Or maybe it might
just make everything worse for everyone thats around you.
As a sophmore alone, I know many people who have either attempted
suicide or some who tried but could not go through with it and even some

every one and a half hours, making about one hundred and thirty
deaths a week, making suicide the second leading cause of death among
teenagers.
Three major aspects of teenage suicide are (1) what causes teens to
make this choice to take their own lives. (2) How you may be able to detect
if someone you know might be going to commit suicide and (3) and how you
could help someone who may be suicidal.
First what really are the reasons that make teens choose to pick
suicide as an answer to their problems to take thier own lives? One of
the many reasons could be from a form of depression. Depression could be
caused by many different things. Some forms of depression are caused by
the loss of loved ones, a break up with their boy friend or girl friend,
family problems such as a divorce or getting a step parent or even low
self esteem. Which many teenagers have in high school, because of their
appearance or the unabilty of becoming the best that they can be.
