today. In a world of get rich quick and something for nothing
seems to fit right in. Is it to good to be true. It promises better
schooling for children and lower taxes for the average worker. It is
toasted as the answers to all of a state�s problems.
A lottery is a game in which no skill only luck is at work despite
the fact that many lottery officials imply such. Many other interesting
facts have been uncovered by Duke University professors Charles Clotfelter
and Philip Cook. This are all related to lottery advertising and are all

That�s because state lotteries are exempt from Federal Trade Commission
truth-in-advertising standards.(Reno 1) This means that state lotteries
are allowed to advertise whatever they want without fear of prosecution. So
if any one ever wished to pursue action against the lottery they would
have to take their case through a civil court which would require using
their own money and they themselves would be tied up in courts for years.
Most people do not have the money or the time to pursue justice in the case
