The Ontological argument revolves around the conclusion of if God truly exists, and if there really is a higher power as well as where it comes from. This argument can get very sensitive when it is usually viewed from two points. One side looks at this in a very religious aspect and is straightforward saying automatically there is a God or higher power because that is what their religion taught them. On the opposite end we have those who look at it in a scientific way and they are the ones who need proof that there is higher power they won’t believe in something without the facts to prove their reasonings. be questioned, it will forever remain relevant and never fade away. Another strength includes this argument is the beginning to many other arguments and theories that developed, it is the first “domino” in the domino effect.
A weakness of this argument is altogether since we have no proof at all we could possibly not believe in this theory at all or reject the definition as a whole. Another weakness would be that even if it’s believed or imagined this does not mean that it exists.
This argument is immense and can be interpreted how anyone would want it. Meaning that since there is no set “criteria” for this God many people have created their own versions of what they believe God is.
