The Planet Mars


Mars has always been a mysterious planet to us. Going there would
somehow ease this sense of curiosity we�ve established over many years of
question towards this planet. This travail would allow us to achieve the
next level of space exploration, and maybe, would help society start
concentrating on the true climax in evolution which is full understanding
of our surroundings. A simple concept that, until grasped, will linger in
our subconscious� for years to come.
In order to make this dream a reality we must first realize our
obstacles. The biggest one of course being the enormous cost. The start up
plan amounts to $20 bil. and each mission follows with $2 bil. Next would

and do their business. When they�re done, the habitat lander takes them
back up to orbit where they meet back up with their CTV, waiting patiently
in orbit, that takes them back home.
The money issue is being handled in many different ways. The most
successful plan so-far is the ThinkMars plan. Students at MIT and Harvard
are setting up a for-profit corporation which they contract out various
tasks to small businesses and corporations for NASA research centers. The
US and other govt.�s help out by buying certain rights to the space craft,
while the corporation will sell certain media rights and other promotional
opportunities making up for the cost difference. Now that we have realized
that a mission to Mars is within our technological boundaries, we must find
a way to achieve this. Now all we have left to do is win the hearts of our
taxpayers, politicians, and business leaders.
