The people who are running in the primary on March 7, 2000 are Al Gore, Bill Bradley, for Democratic Party. George W. Bush, John McCain and Allen Keyes for Republican Party.

The Presidents Council Physical Fitness and Sports established the President�s Challenge Youth Physical Fitness Awards Programs. The purpose is to help students to make a commitment to increase physical activity and a lifetime of fitness. By involving students in the President�s Challenge, students are receiving the knowledge and understanding of the relationship between a healthy body and a healthy mind.
Our school participates in this Fitness program for several years. The awards are given in two levels - the Presidential and National Physical Fitness Awards. To receive these awards each student must complete these five categories: curl ups, shuttle run, 1 mile run, pull-ups, and flexibility v-sit and reach. The standards are on the following page.
