Today, the greatest peril posed against humanity is a concept that masks its true self behind a guise of inspiration, solidity, and innovation. For years now, it has deceived and tricked and fooled billions around the globe, from greats such as Albert Einstein and Mahatma Gandhi reimagining the world, down to socially inept middle-schoolers seeking a reason as to why they matter. And now, in the twenty-first century, with all the knowledge and wisdom we possess, it still manages to hoodwink us into placing it high on a pedestal where all look to it as means of comfort and reassurance.
