and aren't seen from again, later reported dead, as a trace could not be found. And yet, their actions within these countries aren't where the most light is shed. Usually reports of these actions are only made aware to the entirety of the media when cartel members come into conflict with law enforcement or endanger people near the border. When the reality is, the actions mention before happen daily. Daily people are abducted and enslaved to do as their told, with their only benefit being to hopefully survive another day under the cartels oppressive feet. These groups' actions only continue because of the instability in the methods of dealing with them; because of their wealth they hold a vast amount of power, yet it's because of this power that their actions are hard to become blind to. Regardless of their influence, toppling their reign and punishing them would not only be the right thing to do, but it would be a symbol to any future groups who wish to do the same. Imagine if ...
