His case is seen as desperate by his surroundings whereas one from another culture might think that Nwibe went through a fury like some people do on bad days. This put him in a situation in which his precious social status was at big risk until another medicine-man came to “cure Nwibe from his madness.” Altho this story ends fairly well, it could have had a much more dramatic bustle.
