"The Refrigerator" by Howard Moss

Howard Moss effectively uses figurative language in his poem "The Refrigerator". The most prominent device he uses in the poem is personification. The inanimate object of a refrigerator takes on a variety of human qualities. The refrigerator in the poem has a life, and has a plethora of human emotions.
