Every attempt to prove that people are immortal has failed. No evidence can be found which shows that people's souls exist after death; hence, immortality must be false.
Arguing from ignorance-assuming that because you don't know about something, it's not worth knowing about. Just because no proof currently exists doesn't mean that immortality isn't possible!
The death penalty is a warning just like a lighthouse throwing its beams out to sea. We hear about shipwrecks, but we do not hear about the ships that the lighthouse guides safely on their way. We do not have proof of the number of ships it saves, but we do not tear the lighthouse down.

Arguing with false chain of causality, otherwise known as the fallacy of if then, then this must occur, or post hoc, ergo propter hoc in Latin. The speaker argues that money spent is directly correlated to student performance and parental caring about school, as if parents that sent students to private, expensive schools cared more about their children's educations, and as if salary and effort were directly correlated in education.
If Rush Limbaugh could be elected President, then we could rebuild this country. But the liberals would never allow him to be elected, so we will inevitably continue to spiral into social decay.
Straw man-by setting up a false enemy, such as 'the liberals,' no argument is made about how Limbaugh could ameliorate the country's problems, or even how liberals are currently preventing the conservative radio talk show host's incipient election.
