Veet, "what beauty feels like." In this advertisement, Veet is introducing a new guide to have flawless skin. This advertisement is innocent at first glance, but when looked at in depth, this ad is bad. Veet products target women in the middle twenties, makes woman feel non-attractive, and other things just to make their products sell more.

This particular advertisement catches women and men eyes by having a thin woman, roughly twenty-three years of age, twirling her body. She has dark curled hair with a silk pink sleeveless dress. The petite dress accentuates her long legs. Her hands are in a modeling ...

will not be beautiful without Veet products, and the emaciated woman is what they call beautiful. Women may feel that in order to be beautiful, they must buy Veet products and be slender. Underneath the woman there is a statement that reads, "Your guide to everything sexy". This statement lowers women self-confidence, so they will read more. The bottom of the advertisement contains the statement "Cosmo and Veet bring you the must-have guide for everything beautiful and sexy. Everyone wants flawless, smooth and supple skin, to feel confident about who they are and everything they do (and it's your right too!)" With this statement Veet catches your attention by stating what everybody wants meaning it's popular.

Overall I don't like this advertisement because it deceives people into thinking there ugly when there not. It also puts women to shame by using their body as an attention grabber. This advertisement really shows how much a beautiful woman can grab people ...
