The most compelling argument in the readings I was given was the topic of the Carpet Bombing and Agent Orange turning American people against the war because it was not a "clear strategic view." The Vietnam War was a very important war to the United States .There were many Americans who despised the Vietnam War, but the strategic points of Carpet Bombing and Agent Orange were not any of those reasons.
