�� is a word that was used in the story Gulliver�s Travels by Johnathan Swift. The word was used as satire and hypocrisy of humankind. The story was published anonymously in 1726 because of the attack and vanity on contemporary courts, statesman and political parties. Nonetheless, the book became so imaginative and witty, that it became a favorite children�s book.
The word was invented by Swift meaning human-like or degraded human inhabitants of the land of the Houynhnms in part IV of Gulliver�s Travels. is often heard by cowboys in country movies. The word is not commonly used as a insult, it may be because of so many underachievers and the new slang. If someone wants to insult another person, usually more vulgar words are used. Many insulting words have evolved into very vulgar words and are used almost everyday.

For some reason that I have yet to find out, there is a web site on the internet called yahoo. The web site originally started at Stanford University, and then moved to its own site in April 1995. The address for yahoo is www.yahoo.com and has many different chat lines so strangers can talk to each other through typing thoughts to others. The web site has many different rooms to talk in from religion to language. I guess the creator of yahoo decided to name it that for personal reasons, which I can not find anywhere.
