That having been said, I doubt if any person is strictly one or the other. The classical self in me has taken apart an old camera body, just to see what was in there and how it worked. If it�s something I�m interested in, I like to know everything about it, not just the pretty and exciting part. I would rather try and figure out a computer program than have someone show me how or read me the manual. I�ve tried to find out myself what was making that banging noise in my old car, only to notice there was a hunk of metal where it shouldn�t be. Having no idea what that hunk was, I took it to the shop where they told me I threw a rod. Had I taken the car in earlier, they said, I might have saved the engine. That�s where I learned that I have no business thinking that I can do everything.
