In this world we are all different. Some of us are tall, short, light skinned, dark skinned, petite, and full figured. Some of us wear glasses to see and some use wheelchair�s to move. We are all unique and special in our own way.
In the movie �A Mile in His Shoes� the main character has autism Asperger�s syndrome. He is a teenage boy named Mickey Tussler that lives with his parents in a farm. He does not like surprises and is shy and sensitive. He likes to feed his pigs by pitching apples inside a can. for the River Rats. He was impressed by Mickey pitches and wondered if he would be interested to join the team. He still had no idea that he had autism. Mr. Tussler was very skeptical about the idea he did not think it was a good idea for Mickey. Coach Murphy left his a card in case he changed his mind. Mrs. Tussler liked the idea but had little say in it. Mickey�s parents both live in the farm and raise Mickey together. Mr. Tussler is strict and likes stability and routine, Mrs. Tussler is more open minded and is understanding. Mickey ends up going to play baseball with coach Murphy, the baseball team accepts him instantly. Until he gets to pitch in a game and Lefty the main pitcher for the River Rats gets mad. Mickey gets overwhelm by the crowd cheering that he cannot concentrate well. But still manages to pitch well. Lefty gets jealous that Mickey is taking his place and does not like it at all.
